  19. Inspiring selection of photographs serving to highlight the critical issue of poaching in Africa. In southern Africa, rhino poaching is rampant, while in East Africa, elephant poaching is apparently increasing at an alarming rate.

For more, read this disturbing article in The Spectator about elephant poaching in Tanzania and the involvement of the Chinese: http://www.spectator.co.uk/essays/all/5863872/will-china-kill-all-africas-elephants.thtml

  48. My heart and soul are lifted after viewing these beautiful photos of God’s unique creation. thank you so much for putting up for viewing. They have made by day.

  49. As a child, I was lucky to see some of these animals in the wild. Looking at all these fantastic pictures has driven me back to that time. Many many thanks!
But it also made me want to share a thought with you:

In Africa, most people are so poor we can’t imagine, without enough food or water or shelter or confort. Some wild animals worth money – so people hunt them. Some others destroy their crops and cattle – so people hunt them. And others are just frightening – and so people hunt them…
Isn’t it the same that our «civilization» did elsewhere, for instance in Europe?

Money is nowadays «god» (wasn’t it allways?) – and that’s the problem.
BUT HOW CAN WE CHANGE THAT?
(I wish I could better express my idea in English).

  50. Belinda van der Merwe Says:

    This is Soul Food.

  51. These photos brought me to tears! The people who took these pictures are truly gifted! I could never pick a favorite because they are all so incredibly special and the subjects are all true wonders of the world! I can’t wait to return to Africa…where I know I belong!

  52. linda brockett Says:

  53. Is there any way to get copies of these photos?
